SWOTPal ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the SWOTPal mobile application and related services (the "Service").

If you choose to create an account to sync your subscription or unlock specific features, we collect:

• Email Address: Used for authentication and account recovery.
• Profile Data: Basic profile information such as your name (if provided).

1.2 User Content & AI Analysis

• SWOT Analysis Data: Text content you input into the app (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats).
• Uploaded Files: PDFs or documents you analyze are parsed locally on your device. We do not store these files on our servers.
• AI Requests: To provide AI analysis ("Deep Thinking"), relevant text excerpts from your inputs may be sent to our AI service providers. This data is transient and used solely to generate the response.

1.3 Subscription Data

We collect purchase history and subscription status via Apple App Store to verify your access to premium features.

• Process your AI analysis requests.
• Manage your subscription and account access.
• Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: With third-party vendors (e.g., AI providers, cloud hosting, payment processors) who perform services for us, under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal Compliance: If required by law, regulation, or legal process.

5. User Rights

• Access and Update: You can access and update your profile information within the app settings.
• Delete Account: You can request usage data deletion or delete your account entirely through the app settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed from our active databases.

6. Children's Privacy

SWOTPal is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we find we have collected such information, we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
