1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to BucketPal! By downloading, installing, or using the BucketPal application ("App" or "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Service Description

2.1 Features

BucketPal is a personal goal management app offering:

• Goal creation and management
• Progress visualization
• Smart reminders
• Life progress tracking
• Live Activity support (iOS 16.1+)
• Home screen widgets

2.2 Nature of Service

• A personal productivity tool
• All data stored locally on your device
• No cloud sync or social networking

3. Eligibility

• Must be 13+ to use the App
• Ages 13–18 require parental/guardian consent
• Users must have the legal capacity to accept these Terms

4. Accounts and Data

• Users may set up optional profile information (e.g., username, birthday)
• Users retain ownership of their content
• All data remains stored locally on the device

5. Subscription Services

• Free Plan: Basic features with limited goals
• Premium Plan: Full access with unlimited goals
• Subscriptions are billed via the App Store and auto-renew unless canceled
• Refunds are handled according to Apple's policy
• Free trials auto-convert to paid unless canceled in advance

6. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer or tamper with the App
• Bypass security protections
• Use the App for unauthorized commercial purposes
• Distribute malware or disrupt services

Users are responsible for their own content and must avoid illegal or harmful material.

7. Intellectual Property

• The App and all components are owned by us and protected under copyright and trademark law
• Users are granted a limited, non-transferable, personal license for non-commercial use only
• "BucketPal" and associated logos are our trademarks

• We strive for reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime
• iOS 16.0 or higher is required (some features need later versions)
• We may update, modify, or remove features from time to time

10. Disclaimers

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties
• Users bear all risks of use, including data loss
• Third-party content or links are used at users' own risk

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Our liability is limited to the subscription fees paid
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

12. Termination

• Users may stop using the App or delete it at any time
• We may suspend or terminate service for violations, abuse, or legal reasons

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation
• If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to arbitration or local courts depending on jurisdiction
• These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms with 30 days' notice. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.

15. Miscellaneous

• These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy, form the complete agreement
• Invalid provisions do not affect the rest of the Terms
• Failure to enforce a provision does not waive our rights
