Detailed Profiles
Species, source, mount type, growth stage (spore sowing to sporing adult), health, price and custom tags. 16 Platycerium species built in, and you can add your own.
Growth Timeline
Every photo builds a dated visual story. Swipe through months or years at full resolution, or let Fern stitch your best frames into a growth video you can share.
Time Machine & Before / After
Fern picks a plant each day and replays it: then, now, and the gap between. The before/after split puts two dates side by side.
Care Logs for Mounted Plants
Water, feed, prune, remount, pest, algae, plus care types you define. Log a whole shelf in one batch, back-date what you forgot, and set reminders per plant.
The Wall
Lay your collection out on an infinite canvas the way it actually hangs. Export the whole wall as one image, or pin it to your Home Screen as a widget.
Lineage
Link mother plants to their pups and build a family tree of every generation. Export the whole lineage as an image.
Widgets, Watch, Apple TV, Siri
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, an Apple Watch app with complications, an Apple TV picture frame, and Siri and Spotlight that know your plants by name.
Smart Management
Group and filter your collection eight different ways. Stats show how it grew, where you buy most, and your care streaks.
Our Philosophy
Crafted with Love
Whether you are nurturing a delicate sporeling or a majestic specimen, every new shield (face) and frond (hand) deserves to be remembered. Forget messy photo albums. Build your structured "Digital Botanical Garden" today.
We also built StaghornFern.org as a free resource for the community — covering species identification, mounting techniques, and everything in between.
