We are an independent app development studio committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a positive experience with our mobile applications. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile applications and services.

This Privacy Policy applies to all ElevenApril products, including but not limited to:

• BucketPal - Personal goal management application
• LiveMarquee - Dynamic scrolling text display application
• 3ThingsPal - Daily focus and productivity application
• DishPal - AI grocery list maker
• SunshinePal - Daily sunlight tracker for better sleep and mood

Information We Collect

BucketPal

Information You Provide:

• Username (optional)
• Birthday (for life progress calculations)
• Life expectancy settings
• Profile photo (optional)
• Goal content and descriptions
• Goal categories and priorities
• Goal completion status and timestamps

Application Settings:

• Theme and appearance preferences
• Notification settings
• App configuration preferences

Information We Do NOT Collect:

• Device identifiers (UDID, advertising ID, etc.)
• Location information
• Contact information
• Usage data from other applications
• Web browsing history
• Any sensitive information that could directly identify you

LiveMarquee

Information You Provide:

• Photos captured using the in-app camera
• Text content for scrolling displays
• Theme and appearance settings

Information We Do NOT Collect:

• Personal identification information (names, email addresses, phone numbers)
• Location data
• Contact lists
• Social media or external account information
• Analytics or crash reports (though Apple may collect anonymous data through App Store Connect if enabled on your device)
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA)

DishPal

Information You Provide:

• Recipes, shopping lists, weekly menus and kitchen inventory you create
• Photos you choose to scan (recipes or a fridge shelf), turned into text on the way in and not kept by us
• App configuration and appearance settings

DishPal stores this on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account; family sharing uses iCloud sharing between the people you invite. AI requests go to Apple Intelligence (on device or Apple's Private Cloud Compute) or, only if you add your own API key, to the provider you chose (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or DeepSeek), which handles them under its own privacy policy. Information We Do NOT Collect:

• Personal identification information (names, email addresses, phone numbers)
• Location data
• Contact lists
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA)

Map Poster

Map Poster reads only the location and capture date of the photos you give it access to, on your device, to light up the cities you have been to. The photos themselves are never uploaded, and the city lookup for your photos runs offline on your device. Your map, check-ins, badges and posters are stored on your device.

To draw maps and to find a place you search for by name, Map Poster requests map data online from OpenStreetMap-based services (OpenFreeMap, Overpass, Photon and Nominatim) and, for some regions, Apple. These requests contain the map area or the search text, never your photos, and are not linked to an account.

DuePal

DuePal stores your dues and countdowns on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account to sync between your devices. Public-holiday data is built into the app. DuePal has no account, no ads and no analytics.

SunshinePal

Information You Provide:

• Daily sunlight goals
• Notification preferences
• App configuration settings

Information We Do NOT Collect:

• Personal identification information
• Precise location data (we use HealthKit data, not GPS)
• Contact lists
• Advertising identifiers

SWOTPal

Information You Provide:

• SWOT analysis text content (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats)
• Uploaded PDF files for analysis (processed locally)
• Subscription status and preferences

Information We Do NOT Collect:

• We do not store your raw PDF files on our servers (processed locally on device)
• We do not use your analysis data to train general AI models
• Personal identification information (unless you optionally create an account)

General Information Collection

Across All Apps:

• We do not track you across apps or websites
• We do not use your data for advertising or profiling purposes
• We do not collect personal information from children under 13
• We do not integrate third-party analytics SDKs or advertising frameworks

Automatically Collected Information:

• Anonymous usage data may be collected by Apple through App Store Connect Analytics (if enabled on your device)
• Subscription status and purchase history are stored in your Apple account and subject to Apple's privacy policy
• We do not access or control data collected by Apple

How We Use Your Information

Local Storage

BucketPal:

• All personal data is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework
• Data is not uploaded to any external servers or cloud services
• You maintain complete control over your data

LiveMarquee:

DishPal:

• All recipe, ingredient, and planning data is stored locally on your device
• No content is uploaded to our servers
• Data is protected by iOS system-level security

• All photos and text content are stored locally on your device using iOS's secure local storage
• Content remains private and is never transmitted to our servers
• Data is protected by your device's security features

SunshinePal:

• All sunlight data and preferences are stored locally on your device
• HealthKit data remains in the Apple Health app and is only read by SunshinePal
• No data is transmitted to our servers

iCloud Storage (Optional)

If you have iCloud enabled on your device:

• App content may be automatically backed up or synced to iCloud according to your system settings
• iCloud storage is managed entirely by Apple and subject to Apple's iCloud Terms and Privacy Policy
• We do not have access to any user data stored in iCloud
• We do not operate our own cloud servers for storing user content

Data Usage Purposes

Your data is used solely for:

• Providing core application functionality
• Generating personalized statistics and progress reports (BucketPal)
• Displaying goal reminders and notifications (BucketPal)
• Visualizing life progress and achievements (BucketPal)
• Creating and displaying scrolling text (LiveMarquee)
• Managing photos and camera features (LiveMarquee)
• Parsing recipes and organizing ingredients into shopping categories (DishPal)
• Generating grocery lists from meals and recipes you enter (DishPal)
• Tracking daily sunlight exposure and progress (SunshinePal)
• Visualizing sunlight history and trends (SunshinePal)
• Improving app stability and fixing bugs (anonymous data only)

Data Processing Principles

• Minimization: We collect and process only necessary data

• User Control: You can modify or delete your data at any time

We Do Not Share Your Personal Data

We explicitly do not:

• Sell, trade, or rent your personal information to anyone
• Share your data with advertisers or data brokers
• Provide your content to third parties for marketing purposes
• Engage in any form of data trading or monetization
• Share your photos, goals, or text content with third parties

Third-Party Services We Use

Apple Services:

• App Store Connect: For application distribution and subscription management
• StoreKit: For processing in-app purchases
• UserNotifications: For sending local notifications (BucketPal, DuePal, DishPal expiry reminders)
• CloudKit / iCloud: For syncing and sharing data in your own iCloud account (DishPal, DuePal and others)
• ActivityKit: For Live Activity functionality (BucketPal)

All Apple services are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. Map Poster also loads map data from OpenStreetMap-based services, and DishPal sends AI requests to a provider only if you add your own API key (see above). We do not integrate any third-party services for analytics, advertising, or data collection.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information only in the following limited circumstances:

Data Security

Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security practices:

• Data is encrypted and stored in your device's secure sandbox environment
• We use Apple's recommended security best practices for iOS development
• All data transmission (when necessary) uses secure protocols
• Regular security audits and updates to address vulnerabilities

Your Device Security

The security of your data also depends on:

• Your device's security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
• Keeping your iOS system updated
• Using secure network connections
• Physical security of your device

No Developer-Controlled Cloud Storage

• We do not upload your personal content to any servers we operate or control
• All processing and storage happens entirely on your local device
• If using iCloud, that data is protected by Apple's security measures

Your Rights and Choices

Data Control Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View all data stored within the application
• Modification: Edit or update your information at any time
• Deletion: Delete all your data completely
• Portability: Export your data (where applicable)
• Restriction: Limit how your data is processed

How to Exercise Your Rights

Within the Apps:

• Edit or delete content directly in the application interface
• Reset app settings at any time
• Uninstall the application to remove all locally stored data

App Permissions

Our apps may request the following permissions:

BucketPal:

• Notifications: For goal reminders and alerts (optional)

LiveMarquee:

• Camera Access: Required only for photo capture functionality
• Photo Library Access: Required only for saving photos to your device

Photo Calendar:

• Photo Library Access: To read when each photo was taken, suggest a cover for each month and let you swap photos. All of this runs on your device; photos are never uploaded to us.
• Add to Photo Library: To save finished month pages and wallpapers to your Photos
• iCloud Drive: For the optional backup of your months, stored in your own iCloud account

Map Poster:

• Photo Library Access: To read where and when your photos were taken and light up the cities you've been to. You can give access to only some photos. Photos never leave your device.
• Add to Photo Library: To save your posters to your Photos

DuePal:

• Notifications: For the heads-up before each due and the reminder when it arrives
• Alarms (iOS 26 and later, optional): To let dues ring like a system alarm

DishPal:

• Camera: To read recipes and what's on a fridge shelf from photos you take (optional)
• Microphone and Speech Recognition: When you speak the dishes you want to cook (optional)
• Reminders: Only if you export a list to Reminders
• Notifications: For expiry reminders, if you turn them on

SunshinePal:

• HealthKit: To read "Time in Daylight" data from Apple Watch
• Notifications: For daily goal reminders and updates (optional)

You can:

• Deny or revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings
• Use most app features even if permissions are denied
• Be informed why each permission is needed before granting access

Children's Privacy

Age Requirements

• Our services are suitable for users of all ages
• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent
• Parents and guardians are encouraged to monitor children's app usage

Parental Rights

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information:

• Contact us immediately using the information below
• We will promptly delete any such data from the device
• We recommend using iOS parental controls to manage app access

Student Support Program (BucketPal)

• Students may apply for free premium membership
• Applications require only basic verification (student email or ID)
• No sensitive student information is permanently stored
• All student data follows the same privacy protections

Data Retention

Retention Periods

Local Data:

• Data is retained on your device until you delete it
• Uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored data
• We do not retain copies of your data on any servers

Anonymous Analytics:

• Anonymous, aggregated analytics data may be retained for up to 2 years
• This data cannot be linked back to individual users
• Used solely for app improvement purposes

Backup Recommendations

We recommend:

• Using iCloud backup to protect your data against device loss
• Manually recording important achievements or goals
• Exporting data before major iOS updates

International Data Transfers

Since all personal data is stored locally on your device:

• There are no international data transfers of your personal content
• Your data remains within your geographic location
• Only Apple's iCloud service (if enabled) may sync data internationally according to Apple's policies

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

• Our mobile applications do not use cookies
• We do not use web tracking technologies
• We do not track users across apps or websites
• We do not use advertising identifiers for tracking purposes
